Trends have certainly changed. Green is the new red this February. Well at least that’s true for my garden!
After more than a month of busy schedule, I finally managed to post here. But it does not mean that I was away from my plants too! Nothing can keep me away from them. Last Dec and then January went through fluctuation in weather that caused random changes in growing patterns of different plants.
For instance, this time last year my tomatoes were ready to be picked. But this year only first cluster has turned into unripe fruit. I am in love with the light green clusters of various sizes! This year I have all bush varieties which gives more natural feeling to the garden.
Another bush variety that I am trying for the first time is draft cucumbers! My young crunchy cucumbers are spreading darker shades of green too. Other than these two, Strawberries, Spinach, carrots, white and red radishes, lime and lettuce are vigorous sources of greenery this season.
On the other hand, some pots filled with blushing flowers create beautiful contrast and a cheerful radiance.
